Mark Sinnis is a New York City music scene veteran known for his "Cemetery & Western" sound and thought-provoking lyrics. Mark, whose music spans two decades, was the co-founder and singer/songwriter of the NYC band Apostates for 10 years. In 1998, he started his current band, Ninth House, and is the sole songwriter for the group.

With rich vocals that have been compared to a cross between Ian Curtis (Joy Division) and Johnny Cash, Sinnis’ music incorporates Gothic undertones as well as traditional Country music with a contemporary modern edge.

“Into An Unhidden Future”, Sinnis' debut album containing 19 tracks, was released in 2008. The album “A Southern Tale” followed in 2009, and received great reviews that recognized Mark’s fusion of Cash-styled Country with Gothic music.

Mark’s D.I.Y. label, 9th Recordings, released all Ninth House’s three full-length CDs and his solo albums.

Mark’s third album "The Night’s Last Tomorrow" was released in March 2010 and contains 15 songs. The album continues his Country Gothic influenced journey.
